New Threads - Investigating process and material
Opens: Wed 31st January, 6-8pm The exhibition runs until 24th February at Circle Art Gallery New Threads considers artists’ intimate engagement with process and material, the idea of material as metaphor, and how the medium and materials can dictate the form of a work of art. The artist’s understanding of their medium, not just physically, but also in terms of history, personal experience and cultural associations opens up an array of aesthetic possibilities, allowing for a re-thinking of the ways in which the work can communicate, and how audiences can interact with it. Agnes will be showing selected works with two of her peers, Bethani Wells
and Olivia Cook at Welmont Gallery in the coming month of May. This show will be a final goodbye to Savannah, Agnes' home for the past three years. aplacethatisnotyours.com The Alexander Collective’s first annual Salon show at Non-Fiction Gallery is happening this Friday April 7th from 6-9pm!
